Kevin moved to Brockport as a young child, and has lived there ever since. He currently resides there with his wife Marne and his three sons, Kevin Jr., Grant and Reagan, and a daughter, Maggie. Kevin graduated from St. John Fisher College in 2002 with degrees in political science and history. After working for several years following college, Kevin then attended the University of Buffalo Law School, graduating in 2008. After graduation he was admitted to the New York State Bar in February 2009.
During law school, Kevin served as a legal intern for the Honorable Michael A. Telesca of the Western District of New York and the Legal Aid Society, Immigration Unit. He also participated in the Desmond Moot Court Competition.
Upon completion of the bar exam, Kevin worked as an Associate at the Rochester law firm of Thomas & Solomon LLP. At Thomas & Solomon, Kevin worked extensively on representing employees in wage and hour matters under the Fair Labor Standards Act and in various discrimination suits under Title VII, the ADA and the ADEA.
Presently, Kevin is engaged in general practice at Klafehn, Heise & Johnson PLLC.
Kevin has been named as both a Super Lawyer Rising Star and as a Super Lawyer.
